Ján Veizer Stable Isotope Laboratory

The internationally renowned Ján Veizer Stable Isotope Laboratory was renamed in 2018 to honour our founder and long-time supporter Dr. Ján Veizer.

Welcome

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting the ASITA 2023 Conference from June 11-14.

The lab operates on a cost-recovery basis, serving the H, C, N, O and S stable isotope analysis needs of the University of Ottawa community as a whole, as well as those of other University, Government and Private Agencies around the world. In 2014, we relocated to the Advanced Research Complex (ARC), a brand new custom space. Please take note of our new address: 25 Templeton Street, Room 426. Contact us to arrange a visit and/or a tour of our new facility.

We would like to thank the University of Ottawa, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), the uOttawa Faculty of Science, the uOttawa Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences, and Carleton University for their support.
